PROPERTY

Nobody is browsing. They are checking you.

An investor finds your firm, reads the site, and decides whether you are worth a phone call. That happens before you know they exist, and you get one go at it.

A residential street of the kind our property clients source and package for investors

The arithmetic here is the opposite of every other trade we work in.

A GARAGE SEARCHES 110,000 people a month type mot near me £3.85PER CLICK

A PROPERTY FIRM SEARCHES 590 people a month type property investment company £9.66PER CLICK

A hundred and eighty times less traffic, at two and a half times the price. Add a city to the phrase and it climbs again: £11.04 for Manchester, £10.31 for buy to let in the UK. You cannot win this one on volume. There is no volume to win. Nearly every person who lands on your site is already a serious prospect doing a background check, which makes the website the single highest value asset in the business. Before you spend anything at these prices, put your own numbers through the ROAS calculator.

What they look for, in roughly this order.

We designed both of our property builds around the same question: what does a cautious investor need to see before they will give you thirty seconds more?

  1. Are you regulatedOne sourcing client carries its Property Redress Scheme, Markel and ICO marks on the homepage rather than three clicks away. Investors run the check. Make passing it easy.
  2. Do you do my strategyBuy to let, BRRR, HMO, flips and Dubai each get their own section and their own language. The HMO investor and the flip investor are not the same person.
  3. Can I see anythingA filtered search across location, price, type and strategy, so a visitor can self-qualify instead of ringing to ask what you have.
  4. Which one am IInvestors and homeowners get separate routes from the homepage. One shared page that half suits both convinces neither of them.

Two property businesses, built for two very different investors.

A premium property sourcing agency site covering the UK and Dubai

A sourcing agency, UK and Dubai

Clients commit real capital to properties they have not visited. So the site was built the way private banking looks: navy, white and gold, credentials on show, and Dubai given a proper section rather than a line in the footer.

A property investment marketplace with filtered search and two audience routes

A lead generation site that became a marketplace

Phase one was a credible site that earned the call. Phase two turned it into a marketplace with filtered search, separate investor and homeowner routes, and a sign up for off market deals. One build, planned in two halves.

Common questions

Why is a property website worth more than its traffic suggests?
Because the visitor numbers are small and the decisions are large. Around 590 people a month search for a property investment company in the UK and a click costs roughly £9.66, against £3.85 for a garage search with a hundred and eighty times the volume. You are not running a traffic business. You are running a credibility business where almost every visitor is vetting you.
Can a lead generation site grow into a property marketplace later?
Yes, if it is architected for it from the start. We built one client's site as a credible lead generation site first, then extended the same site into a marketplace with filtered search across location, price, type and strategy, plus separate routes for investors and homeowners. Planning for that trajectory on day one costs very little and saves a full rebuild.
Should investors and homeowners share the same pages?
No. They arrive with different questions and different anxieties, so a page that half suits both convinces neither. Give each audience its own route through the site, with its own language and its own next step.
Do compliance credentials belong on the homepage?
Yes, visibly. Investors run due diligence before they make contact, and professional registrations are the fastest way to pass that check. One of our sourcing clients carries its Property Redress Scheme, Markel and ICO marks on the homepage rather than burying them on an about page.
