In Brief

Asquare AI built an e-commerce and booking website for PT Motion Events, a photo booth hire and retail business whose booths have appeared at events for Dove, Hilton, Gymshark and the NHS. The site serves two revenue streams at once: event hire enquiries and direct online sales of photo booth hardware.

The Situation

Two types of customer. One confused website. Revenue going nowhere.

PT Motion Events had a problem that looked simple on the surface but was quietly costing them serious money. On one side: brides and event planners looking to hire a photo booth for the night. On the other: entrepreneurs and business owners ready to spend £600–£2,000 buying one outright to run as their own side business.

These two people are completely different. What convinces a bride to enquire (atmosphere, what props are included, how the 360 booth looks at a wedding) is nothing like what convinces a buyer (specs, warranty, markup potential, how quickly they'll recoup their investment). Their old website was trying to talk to both from the same page. Neither felt understood. Neither was converting.

What We Did

Split the journey. Speak to each customer in their own language.

We rebuilt the site from scratch as a proper dual-flow e-commerce platform. Land on the homepage: you immediately know whether you're here to hire or buy. From that point, the two journeys diverge completely.

01
Hire journey: Package pages built around event types: weddings, corporate events, birthday parties. Enquiry forms that capture the right info. Descriptions written for the person planning an event, not a tech enthusiast. Availability and what-happens-on-the-night clarity that removes every hesitation before booking.
02
Retail journey: A full e-commerce catalogue covering their entire range: 360 Booth, Magic Mirror, iPad Booth, DSLR Booth, the Glambot Robot. Side-by-side specs, pricing tiers, comparison tools. Written for the buyer calculating ROI, not the guest at a party.
03
The trust layer: PT Motion Events works with some serious names: Dove, Hilton, Gymshark, the NHS. That's the kind of social proof that short-circuits doubt instantly. We made sure every visitor sees it before they've scrolled past the fold.
04
Search visibility: Targeted the searches that matter: "photo booth hire London," "360 photo booth hire," "wedding photo booth UK," "buy photo booth business." People actively looking to spend money. Not just browsing.

The Point

When your website speaks to everyone, it converts no one. This one speaks to the right person at the right moment.

PT Motion Events is a genuinely strong business. The Glambot Robot alone is something you'd see at a Gymshark launch or a Hilton corporate event. That credibility exists. The old website just wasn't communicating it. Now it does: and every visitor knows within seconds whether they've found what they were looking for.

If you run an event entertainment or photo booth business and your website treats a blushing bride the same way it treats a business buyer, you're leaving significant revenue on the table. We can fix that.

Industry Context

Events businesses need a website that sells twice

The UK events and photo booth hire market is driven by two very different buyers: consumers planning weddings and parties, and corporate teams booking brand activations. Both start with search, but they need different messages, different proof and different conversion paths. A hire business that lumps them together converts neither well.

PT Motion's added complexity is retail: selling photo booth hardware to other operators alongside hiring booths out. That demands genuine e-commerce (product pages, checkout, fulfilment) living beside a service booking flow, with brand credibility (Dove, Hilton, Gymshark, the NHS) doing the heavy lifting for both audiences. It is a pattern any hire-plus-retail business can learn from.

Common Questions
What does a photo booth hire website need to convert?

Separate paths for private events and corporate hire, real event photography, named brand clients where possible, transparent package pricing, and an enquiry form that captures the date and venue first. Speed matters: most hire enquiries go to whoever responds first.

Can one website handle both hire bookings and product sales?

Yes, with deliberate structure. Hire and retail need separate journeys, navigation and calls to action, sharing one brand and one checkout-grade platform underneath. PT Motion Events runs both streams from a single site.

How do events businesses get corporate clients online?

Corporate buyers search like procurement teams: they want named clients, case studies and fast professional responses. A dedicated corporate page with recognisable brand logos and activation examples turns the website into a pitch document that works while you sleep.

Run a photo booth, AV, or event entertainment business?

We've built this before. We know what event planners need to see to enquire. We know what entrepreneurs need to see to buy. A website that understands your business model is worth more than one that just looks good. Let's talk.
