Three decisions come up again and again before anyone commissions a website: who should build it, how big a team you need, and whether the site you already have is worth keeping. Each page below answers one of them straight, including the cases where the answer is not us. They are written from what we see on first calls rather than from a sales script.

What these three have in common

Every one of them is really a question about where the money goes after the invoice is paid. A builder is cheap on day one and expensive in month six when you are still editing it yourself. A large agency looks safer until you work out how many people sit between you and the person doing the work. A redesign looks cheaper than a rebuild until the redirects go wrong and you lose rankings that took two years to earn.

So the honest version of all three answers is the same: write down what the site has to do, in numbers, before anyone quotes you. How many enquiries a month would make it worth having. What one customer is worth to you. How long you can wait. Without those three figures nobody can tell you whether a builder, a freelancer or an agency is right, and anyone who says otherwise is selling rather than advising.

We are one of the options on these pages, and not the right one for everyone. Each comparison says where we do not fit.

Or skip the reading and look at what we have actually built.
